GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Team: AV & SOCIAL
Support nimble team in the creation, production and delivery of premium AV digital outdoor billboards and social content for high profile theatrical campaigns. Ideal candidate is team oriented, collaborative, possesses a blend of technical and creative skill sets, has a keen eye for creative problem-solving and is passionate about visual storytelling.
DUTIES
• Assemble client provided assets into marketing layouts and storyboards for AV OOH campaigns
• Layout final resolve frames that are in-line with existing brand materials or campaign objectives
• Able to generate original looks that meet agency/client creative objectives
• Resourceful - able to visually communicate ideas using stock sources if needed
• Storyboard out intended motion, present a clear flow from start to finish with minimal written support
• Able to generate original looks for support materials such as: lower thirds, digital content, dynamic captions, GFX cards etc.
• Solve and format typography as needed for various materials
• Design caption looks that are on brand and on trend
• Photoshop clean-up, imaging, scene extensions as needed
• Able to efficiently export out assets from approved storyboards for motion team to import into After Effects
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2-3 years professional agency experience in similar role - entertainment marketing agency experience required
• EXPERT level typography skills are mandatory - must be able to demonstrate this
• Key Art background a MAJOR bonus
• Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of visual storytelling via storyboards
• Able to demonstrate examples of translating approved creative into various sizes/content types, customizing appropriately
REQUIREMENTS
CREATIVE
Able to see design and storyboard assignments through from concept through execution
Strong familiarity and experience with key art and visual trends within entertainment marketing
Able to visually communicate an abstract concept and support with eloquent written descriptions for internal and external presentations
Experience with marrying design, GFX and print elements to live action footage to create compelling campaign narratives
Able to identify and comp up various visual themes that align with campaign objectives with minimal direction
A thorough understanding of execution levels and when each is appropriate - loose/rough vs. refined/polished
TECHNICAL
Minimum 3 years experience in Photoshop and In-Design, Illustrator and Keynote a plus
Must be able to pick up new workflows and software quickly
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems with the discernment to know when to ask for help
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook a must

Ability to work independently, possessing good communication skills and the ability to prioritize, multitask, managing upward and downward
Experience working in a deadline driven environment
Able to quickly switch gears and pivot to different projects as needed

Available to work a flexible schedule including potential overtime with little or no notice
